NorCalPCA - Volunteering

Thank you so much for offering your time and effort to support the Peace Corps community!

The Northern California Peace Corps Association is an all-volunteer effort and without folks like you, well, we just wouldn't exist.

There are many ways that you can help NorCalPCA by volunteering your skills and talents.  It is a great way to get to know others in the community and to be engaged in the organization. Whether you are interested in hosting and meeting other returned volunteers, telling your own story, continuing to give back to your community, or even helping run the association itself and build out programs of your own.

Please express your interest in volunteering for one of the below NorCalPCA activities and we'll reach out to you to let you know more about how you can get involved.

Grants Committee

The NPCA Grants committee is a group of NPCA board members and volunteers who administer and evaluate applications to the NPCA grants program. The committee is most active between August and September.

Membership Outreach Committee

The NPCA Membership Outreach committee is a group of NPCA board members and volunteers who work throughout the year on strategies and efforts to attract new members to the association.

Newsletter Writers

NPCA publishes an annual newsletter for all of our members and will, on occasion, also publish stories throughout the year.  Members with an interest in writing articles, editing, and helping with layout are always appreciated.

Events

Join us for one of NorCalPCA's Volunteering events such as trail construction and maintenance at Point Reyes or sorting and packaging food at Alameda Food Bank!
